it just struck me as odd, because you've got this group of generic cartoon misfits versus the "populars" or "populous" as I always heard it, and then you think about how people are shitting on the idea of a populist candidate like trump, etc. in oldmedia, and it's hard not to make murderboard memes irl, lol.
