What exactly is "she" sacrificing here?

That thing is an attention whore, and it found its niche with a sort of alt-right/neocons audience.

Going out of "her" way for Blaire would be waking up early and commuting to a boring office job.

Making controversial YouTube videos to cultivate sub celebrity internet status is very much "her" thing.
