I saw a nice piece of propaganda this morning before work. They said "13% of the population(young black men) " holy fuck are they going to say it? "are victims of 38% of violent crime"
Unsaid: they're victims of disproportionate amounts of violent crime because they live in proximity to the perpetrators who are causing a disproportionate amount of violent crime (other young black males).
But obviously young black men are not 13% of the population writ large; granted maybe the area you live in could have as much as 26-30% blacks, otherwise young black men should nationally only account for about 5-6% depending on the age range specified.
