Steam is happy to run all the liberal hollywood propaganda constantly. It's not a bastion of right-wing content. It's very left wing in general.
Any dollar spent on this game is a dollar not spent on kith and kin. Giving money to some unknown international game developer is globalism in a nutshell.
Who said steam was a bastion of right wing content. As long as a platform enforces it’s rules equally to everyone it should not matter.
Your right it’s not money spent on kith and kin. It’s money spent for the enjoyment of the buyer, which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.
So you are supporting globalism by using whatever device you are on since most of the raw materials were mined and probably are only found in a country different than your own?
There is nothing wrong with buying foreign made goods. The issue is when big businesses and government pass laws in favor of multi national corporations that stamp out the local businesses. Can you point to the small time dev that is getting unfairly treated by their government because this guy gets special treatment?
By your logic the spice trade or buying bananas or coffee is globalism despite the fact most countries physically can not support those industries. But because they sell internationally they must be globalist.
Trading bananas and coffee is globalism. Most countries cannot support them and they shouldn't be mass importing them so every super market in the world has the same selection of same international items. Support local, grow local and eat local. Don't kill a sheep in New Zealand then send it to five different countries who already raise their own lambs.
Why should people who do not reside in areas where bananas and coffee grow not be able to purchase them and eat them. Why should farms that grow them be denied selling them to people who want them. You can eat both local crops and imported ones. I’m sure there aren’t that many people who live in temperate climates that exist solely off a diet of bananas. Good luck only living off of things only grown or manufactured in your home town.
You're promoting globalism. You want all the perks of it and then bitch about the downsides. Why should local farmers compete with the entire planet to sell goods at unsustainable prices? Why should a country not be full of third world immigrants because it's the only way to keep prices so low international super markets don't drive you bankrupt demanding third world costs on first world goods.
Shall I continue or are you going to tell me how great Netflix is?
