IIRC other sites indicated the $300m from the sale will be used for further investment into blockchain.

Yoshi P might be able to block it for now (because FFXIV is pretty much bankrolling the corp IMO). Once FFXIV popularity wanes, which every MMORPG does eventually, and if the new FF game he is making isn't a big hit, he's definitely gonna be ejected for someone more pliant.
