The parents and community voted for these schoolboard members. If they don't like being beholden to elected members, then they shouldn't be teachers... it comes with the territory.
Not so sure. Colorado is one of the first states that did mail-in ballots (a few years before the coof.) It went from purple to solid blue shortly after.
Yes and no. It was a slow burn, accelerated mostly by transplants into Boulder/Denver. Colorado is red outside of those areas, including Douglas county.
