While I like both STACS and MTACS, this one seems weird somehow.

I think it's the blending of ALL possible camera angles in one game. Top-down map, Isometric views Third person view, 2D scrolling view.

Time will tell, but it's not endearing itself to me so far. Feels a bit like a mobile game truth be told.

Since there are way too few pirate kinds of sims, I'm willing to give it a try once the demo's out. It could be fun repelling boarders and being a trader, even with the unique combination of mechanics.

Plus its not the fuckin D+ version of pirates.
