just wait and pirate it
not bothering to write an itemized review, it wasn't particularly subversive more than the previous ones - it was kind of empty with no real substance
it just wasn't even that much fun - it relied entirely on fan nostalgia mostly for the raimi series and self-referential "humor" and the multiple spider man thing was done better by spiderverse
if anything it is a showcase of how the marvel team is so strapped for ideas that they have to pull the good ones from the previous movies
I would put it in the bottom 3rd of marvel movies, not worth full attention but fine as background when you are doing something else
Figured it wouldn’t be too good when the second film was a rehash of iron man 3.
It feels like the MCU is scared to have any character dislike their Spiderman. Flash Thompson (Now a 5 foot 5 indian dork) worships Spidy and his villains are "Guy who was screwed over by a government spook and Iron Man" "Mentally stunted computer geek who is mad at Iron Man" "Guy whose name wasn't remembered by a different Spiderman." "Guy who is just fucking shit up for shits and giggles."
