It might be worth it if they have bad wifi and always download their games. I concur that the screen is of much more vibrant quality. having one, im indifferent to it, but it does look nice. For $50 bucks, you might as well, you get a dock upgrade, twice as much storage, the better stand, dont have to rely on wifi, and you can use all the same accesories as the old ones. I think its a steal for $50. Apple would charge $99 just for the memory upgrades, lol!
