Individualism is not a holy cow that has to be preserved at any cost, nothing is. Yes it allows masses of people to be as retarded as they want yet society is a ball of wool, if we all start pulling in different directions it will be unraveled...

In what i agree with the author is that there must be rules what i potentially do not agree with is about who shall make them.

America was at it's strongest when men were most independent and the laws were least enforced and men were allowed to raise their own families as they saw fit.

The pioneers were men of god keeping the gospels as axioms. There you have it, rules. Very strict and steeply enforced ones.
