Van-life influencer acts like an unstable bitch, abuses her boyfriend while he's driving their van, and goes missing which leads to an international search and harassment of the boyfriend who wants nothing to do with the investigation.
They found what seems to be her body, and the boyfriend is on the run. We frequently see cases of wives killing "abusive" husbands and facing no consequences, but the boyfriend's life is forever ruined regardless of if he killed her or not.
The video of the police interaction was very interesting. She seemed emotionally unstable while the guy seemed cringey and weak but not particularly dangerous.
I’d say it’s 50/50 that he snapped and killed her, or she somehow took off and got herself killed and he wants nothing to do with it because he knows he will be the assumed perpetrator.
Another thing that stood out is how the cops were looking for/expecting violence from the guy. I remember the one asking her questions told her to think very carefully before answering the next one, which was whether she was trying to harm her boyfriend.
She said no, obviously. It was absurd white knighting on the cops part. It seems clear to me he wanted her to avoid being arrested for attacking her boyfriend.
Ironically that might have saved her life because she probably would have went back to her family afterwards. It’s a weird story all in all and I’m curious what the truth is. Everyone assumes he is the murderer but after watching the video, I can say I don’t know.
You can say you don’t know because you don’t know any of the facts of the murder. Guilt and innocence isn’t an emotional decision, or it shouldn’t be.
