I have been unable to find the source/reason for nonsense autogen comments on YouTube, inflating YouTube sponsored videos. Figured you guys would be the only ones to even care to explain why this occurred.
It's probably just bots trying to boost videos through the illusion of engagement.
Youtube promotes things based on viewer engagement. That's why people are so adamant about "leave a like and comment." The more engagement they have, the more likely something will make the front page and get eyes.
(unless you've been flagged as problematic and not subscribing to the liberal dogma, then no matter what you do you'll never make it there.)
