There is zero sex/naked/kissing/whatever scene in the first book, but of course they will have to change that.
(There has to be a serious problem in America, if they put sex into everything.)
('intimacy coordinator' - Before filming, actors have to sign contracts, so they know exactly what they are doing. They can feel disgust against the other actor, it doesn't matter.)
There are plenty of novel to TV adaptions that don't have adult content in them that do well. Why the fuck do they feel the need to add sex to everything? I like fictional adult content but there is a bigger market for the non-adult fictional content. The only reason I can see the need to this is that they know they have a shit script and need adult content to boost the potential viewership.
Game of droning on far too long comes to mind.
