If Sean Spicer/Sarah Huckabee Sanders had taken a week off during the last four years, the media would have been flinging their shit at the walls. Well, I mean they were doing that already, but even more so than normal.
AbsoLUTELY this. I remember when Trump had DAILY briefings on corona, and the media STILL tried to demonize him for it.
If trumps press sec went to an unannounced 1 week break 2 days after he starts pulling out of a 20 year war, we'd get nonstop late night 'comedian' takes on trump running away, mainstream misleadia hacks talking about him needing to get impeached, and who knows what else kinds of terrible journalism commenting on him.
IF the media doesnt go absolutely nuke on this one, its TOTAL proof that they are bought and PAID for by this administration. 👌 👌
Jay Carney wouldn't have been this arrogant. As much as that guy was unbearable he at least really knew and understood what a press secretary was supposed to be. For how terrible the Obama administration was they put in a massive effort to put on a show - Biden's is not even trying. It's just not important to them.
