Ignoring the fact that "Google privacy engineer" is an oxymoron, I don't really know what to make of this. It seems they were fired for pushing their politics on the job, which is completely justifiable, but this is Goolag we're talking about. Additionally, the "AI experts" were actually "AI ethicists", ie grifters. So Goolag created these positions as a way pink haired gender studies freaks to grift out a living, and they got precisely what they paid for. They wanted to pay someone to call their models racist and sexist, and that's what they got. This story is just so odd.
