In PSO2: New Genesis, the genders Male and Female are being replaced by "Type 1" and "Type 2" respectively. Demon’s Souls remake pulled a similar stunt.

This push towards biological revisionism is eventually going to go away, but we are in for a rough time until so.

Monster Hunter Rise did the same thing which is immensely disappointing for me with MH being one of my favorite series of all time. There is and always has been different designs for male/female armor as well so I don't know what the fucking point is.
