The girl in pink was literal milliseconds from being stabbed. If the officer had reacted any slower, she could be dead.
If I was ever in her situation, and cop was watching, I would be fucking PRAYING for that cop to shoot.
Of course, we won't hear a word of thanks from the girl he saved, becuase she's dead meat if she says anything in defense of the cops. She is probably in hiding now, being blamed for the death of someone who presumably tried to kill her.
This is the really sad thing about this story, if the media didn't latch on to the "black child shot by police" it would (and should be)"knife wielding teen shot by police" or even better "girl saved by police after knife wielding crazy shot and killed"
But those obviously don't fit the narrative that cops are evil. I really feel sorry for all the US cops at the moment, most just want to help but they're being vilified.

I saw Crowder earlier and apparently the victim said, and I'm paraphrasing, "She got shot because she tried to fucking stab me!"
