Get a PC: you've got control over your machine, more competition among stores, cheaper games, either DRM free or easily circumvented DRM like Steam, more games, games often look and run better, you don't support Sony and Microsoft (beyond maybe a Windows license), more input options like mouse+keyboard on top of controllers and probably a bunch of other things.
Just kick consoles to the curb.

Nintendo Switch have actual games to play. The PS5 on the other hand is a glorified Blu-Ray box.
My backlog of PC games I bought on sale is longer than I can play in a lifetime :D
Linux's been compromised too, but at least it's free.
