Another thing I tell and explain to family why it's wrong and why the media is bullshit but hey they saw the news so I'm obviously wrong despite all the known evidence I showed them.
It's tough not getting blackpilled over all this junk.
Just waiting for the straw to finally break the camel's back I guess. But at this point it's tough to say if the camel even has the sense to say "Enough!" and do something about it.
Family response is definitely the worst black pill to swallow. It's hard to even know where to begin when they think NPR is centrist, and they've had the important details of the past 2 decades worth of news omitted from the media coverage they watch. I'm at the point where I'll just rub it in at any occasion when they don't get what they want by voting the way they do. Hey, how'd you feel about Biden seizing private property to build the wall you told me was racist? How do you feel about those concentration camps reaching double capacity? It's only when they bring up politics, but I'm not hiding those barbs. Support defunding the police? How do you feel about all the black people affected by the 400% rise in violent crime in Minneapolis? It's hard not to feel negative about everything when basically everyone who just reads the headlines becomes a moral hypocrite completely divorced from the consequences of the policies and politicians they support.
