There’s already a massive problem with subpar pilots taking to the skies. In fact substandard pilots have already caused several fatal crashes as a result of airlines either failing to properly check up on the people they are hiring or just cheaping out on pilots. The last thing the world of aviation needs is diversity hire pilots, that’s literally a recipe for disaster. Thousands of lives will be at risk.

They sure as hell won't care about the thousands of lives, but they may care about their stock price declining due to crashes.
