EVS and Meyer alone could have made a real difference in the industry by starting something like a new version of the original Image comics. Instead, they decided to exploit a relatively small fanbase over and over again, and get rich off of it. Ultimately, that’s my real problem. In the beginning it was all about going their own way and trying to change things. That lasted about 6 months, if that.
I agree with you and wish that happened. But I don't know if they could survive/make a profit that way without these fan based projects first.
Almost all/ if not all, the original Image original creators even moved onto Marvel/DC.
I think we'll have a non SJW booming comic industry happen in a few years and this is just the beginning. So I would like to support that now, individually for the possible future.

The earliest ETA for release has always been listed as August 2021 as far as I'm aware.
I just got my Spawn figure from McFarlae's kickstarter and I got my first Jawbreaker comic from Richard Meyer with no issues.
Hopefully there will not be issues with this. With the free action figures and other stuff I can be patient though.
