They're far too collectivist, adverse to conflict to the point they won't tell you how they really feel (honne and tatemae), culturally focused on being polite and respectful, the majority also believe in trad gender roles and feminism is considered a dirty word that's divisive there to the point they hate woke shit as it's a divisive ideology and collectively blew a fucking Fukushima sized gasket when Nike tried some woke shit there in an ad. The only way I see woke shit infiltrating is either if there's enough foreigners who move there and actively force a change through gaining citizenship and voting or through using monetary propaganda since they've never really recovered from the 92 bubble burst and the CCP plague is making things much harder for the people there currently....After living in Tokyo on and off for a decade there IS leftism (mostly sexual promiscuity for lower class jogger music worshipping tards or naïve young women without firm morals and dopamine driven consumerism) there but due to the homogeneity and collectivism mindset the worst parts like racial and guilt based nonsense are rejected as divisive or just don't translate in a shame culture since they were built around beating down modern western guilt culture.
