Yeah, I'm quite aware. Which is exactly why I say the group here shouldn't be patting themselves on the back. We're looking at a group of people that wanted to show off how left wing they were, while at the same time claiming this movement to be apolitical.
Not to mention that the part of GG being "right about everything" only pertains to games journalism. Other than that, it's wanting games to be neutral, which is a completely inane thing to desire when you want to be part of the free expression crowd. Or how about the stupid phrases that no one gets called on like the "I just wanted to play vidya" or "I didn't change, the left just became crazy" type of shit where it just shows that they don't even have two brain cells to rub together.
Also just as always, people fall back on throwing in the rep/cons at me whenever I criticize this group. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised about it coming from people that need to preface their political statements with the "I don't like Trump but..." spiel. Because whoever you do or don't like apparently impacts your creditability.
They will never figure it out. Most people are hyper consumers and are entirely compelled by advertising.
Considering the people that are/were considered part of "GG", I don't think that the group here should be patting themselves on the back.
