Asking the wrong questions. The right question is: "Does Bob Iger bring more value to the company than we're paying him? Does he bring more value than another executive would, since the cost is negligible and we can only have one CEO?"

The answer is probably "CEOs are interchangeable rent-seekers, deriving profit from market manipulation and regulatory capture, not innovation, vision, or inspiration. On that front, Iger does just fine."
