The singer doesn't make them money, and is easily replaced. Nuking them for PR is easy.

Mark Donnelly is legitimately loved by people in Vancouver. He starts it off strong and gets the croud to sing the with glowing hearts verse.

It sounds silly thinking about it but he's fucking great.

There's even YouTube vids of him doing the anthem with hundreds of thousands of views
