That is what "we" have been doing. "We" being people on this site since this is one of the alt-tech platforms. It's just that normies, even the ones that oppose this censorship, don't put in the effort of changing.

I know a lot of people complain that Trump did little-to-nothing about challenge big tech. And regardless of weather people do move to alt-tech, I'd still want him or any leader to do something about censorship. It's absurd that any company, especially ones based in the US, can violate the rights of US citizens.

A lot of people bring up the fact that most to pretty much all alt-tech sites are filled with right-wingers or people who are "hateful". I'll say what I always say in response. It doesn't matter what people on those sites believe or are. If we don't take that over blatant censorship, then free speech is dead. Also, youtube and twitter allow literal commies, so don't give me any bs about fringe groups infesting alt-tech.

There's a lot more I'd like to say on the topic. But that's probably better for a thread of its own instead of a reply. Unfortunately, it'll be filed under the posts I want to write but will take a month to get to like with the one I had about neutrals.
