Not for nothing, but if they had six kids already and he was the primary breadwinner for their asses, then at age 37 they should have had a multi-million-dollar term life insurance policy on his ass, in addition to a whole life policy to back it up.

Then I read the rest of the story and I got to the picture of her family, from back before her husband unceremoniously bought the farm. "HOL UP", my mind screamed - only 1/3 of those 6 kids look like they're white. So I checked her blog. Two births were hers, the other four were adoptions from other countries. Her and her husband were literally collecting kids like Angelina Jolie. On top of that, she knew she was high-risk for pregnancy, and they weren't taking steps to prevent that from happening.

She had the nerve in her article to say "I didn't prepare for my husband to die." Bitch, nobody asks for their spouse to be killed in an accident, but you can't go through life thinking you or your spouse's ass is going to live forever. Hell, a bad blood clot could take out any one of us in the next five minutes. You and your husband's failure to prepare for the future, while taking on the responsibility for four lives that weren't even ones you produced is at best irresponsible and at worst just downright ignorant.

I'm not trying to blame the victim here. It sucks to lose a loved one and deal with the uncertainty of the future. But there were steps they could have taken to mitigate it before it happened, and coming back after the fact to whine about abortion rights now that she wants one to keep her from getting killed by the pregnancy is just mind boggling.
