Let me take a stab at it. If I, as a yellow person, dressed up as a cowboy, or if a white person dressed up as a samurai, then we are guilty of cultural appropriation. But, if I dressed up as Chinese and someone Chinese dressed up as Japanese, then it wouldn't be because to the woke it's stereotypically Asian, all Asians fall under the same umbrella.

It only gets more stupid the more you dig into it. For example, would it be cultural appropriation if an African American dressed up as a Zulu warrior? Some might say no because it's stereotypically African, some might say yes because an American shouldn't be appropriating African culture.

All this does is force regular people trying to have fun into retarded little boxes for the pleasure of power hungry woke idiots.
