The company explained, “We understand this may be disappointing for players still enjoying the game, but it has become a necessity due to upcoming server infrastructure and licensing constraints. Decommissioning a game, and especially our first one, is not something we take lightly.

Oh that's just fucking funny guys, let's examine the maths here. That means even with the shitty live services they're trying to force on everyone even with 'singleplayer' games it's not financially viable to keep it all running because they don't have enough whales buying this crap.

According to Tom Henderson at Insider Gaming the game only had a total of 850,000 players and that included players with free trials, meaning sales were worse than 850,000.

Think about this for a moment, if I had 850,000 sales I would openly fap over that seeing it all pop into my bank account, any indie developer even a small team would be thrilled over that. The woke bloat in these companies is real and they're going to be forced to lay off tons of people. They have no choice in this, the ESG/DEI money isn't covering it.

Well done gamers for boycotting this successfully and not giving them a penny, it looks like even the normie bump as they notice older titles isn't enough either. I think it's fair to write in spite of woke morons taking over AAA studios no one is playing these games realistically and as a result they will probably be getting into serious financial issues soon enough. This is a major white pill for me.
