Tomb Raider 2013 was a decent reboot that made a big splash. Lots of players, fan discussion, fanart, etc. Rise of the Tomb Raider was recognized as middling, Shadow of the Tomb Raider came and went before anyone realized it was there.

Game of Thrones went very woke in the last two seasons, became a disaster of historic proportions, and ended the careers of its showrunners despite bringing in record viewership.
