Thanks. I'll have to look him up, as that's not who I was thinking of. I'm trying to look it up, apparently there are more people who fit that bill than I thought. Leonard Patterson is another one, but also not who I'm thinking of.

It really is a shame that white people were robbed of even the concept of racial solidarity, by and large. These black men didn't turn against communism because they didn't think it was good overall, they turned against it because they realized it was lying to them, that they were being used, and that it wasn't good for black people. They realized they, as a people, were betrayed. A large percentage of white people would and do justify white people being betrayed.

I'm not a fan of racialism in general, but I am totally in favor of groups looking after their own interests. And, also, if everyone else can have it, those that don't have it are often fated for destruction.

I think I found it. Manning Johnson, Color Communism and Common Sense. He absolutely eviscerates those he views as taking advantage of his people. Ridiculously brutal.
