It wouldn't even necessarily need to be historically accurate but you know it's going to be shit and barely plausible because their writing is always shit. I don't even need to look at a trailer to know what the storyline is going to be. The black man is going to be a Portuguese slave who gets brought to Japan, the woman is going to be some poor oppressed servant who gets bullied by the evil Japanese men and then the two of them will eventually meet and team up to fight against muh Japanese patriarchy.

Oh and by the way, it will only be a few days of training but the both of them will magically acquire super abilities to take down hordes of samurai by themselves just by virtue of existing. The woman especially is going to be featured taking down giant men twice her size because backflips and somersaults.

These games aren't even worth hate playing anymore, the story is always predictable so that's never worth it. You also know that despite it being 'open world' the gameplay is actually linear as fuck and the open world is just tacked on for the sake of ticking boxes.

This is why I'm not even remotely interested in the new GTA game because it's going to be exactly the same and the retards who are 'making' it expect everybody to wait for 2027 and be hyped about it when you know they're just delaying as long as possible to keep collecting that ESG/DEI money. These people are shit at their jobs and it's really showing now, I would love to take a look at even a few snippets of their source code so I can laugh at them. A lot of these titles can barely be called games anymore.
