First of all don't use RPGMaker, I don't have that much against it as software but I feel like all of you would be much better adopting a proper engine like Godot because then once you get good at it you won't be limited by the software. RPGMaker does one thing and one thing well and that's helping people churn out JRPG/Top Down RPG clones of which there are millions.

https://godotengine.org/ - Highly recommended, I use it myself and it's open source too so you won't have any licensing issues

I also have a bit of a beginner thread on my own community precisely for noobs to ask specific questions about devving, shameless plug.

Second, I know this is a bit of an unpopular opinion but I feel like being explicitly anti-woke and making your whole product or product line revolve around that is cringe and I stand by that. I've got tons of ideas that I could use to make anti-woke stuff, it's easy and that's the problem. I feel like the market has become frankly oversaturated as hell with anti-woke stuff which might seem unbelievable but I do think that's true. Yes, it might get banned by leftists but it's still out there and honestly they're not doing anything special. Some of the humour gets pretty cringe as well in my view and boils down to "clap for my opinion" style bullshit like what the leftists pull which again. I know people won't want to see posted but yeah I'm sticking with that opinion.

If you're doing it for fun though and just want to fuck around with a project for lulz I totally get it. In which case I'm shamelessly plugging my community which is specifically for people like you. You'll be able to create something much more advanced going this route rather than the RPGMaker route and expand on your skillset.
