Some people really will do anything if there's money in it for them. I know I'm the same and it is easy for me to say "Grow a fucking backbone guy you're obviously better than this, why would you lower yourself?" however given the amount of ad money that gets waved in their faces I can understand it being worth it because actors in ads do get paid a fucking load allegedly.

I've thought about this as well but what's funny though is on the flip side of things it's very much about what gets these people money. The people who run these ads if they think it will sell will push masculine looking models being normal if they think that women will go for it.

A great example of this believe it or not will be the absolute psyop that was done on teenage girls and 40 year old women when it came to Twilight and 50 shades of grey. Both of them involve men being extremely masculine and it made women's panties wet beyond belief to the point they still gush about it today. It's all about mental conditioning and the people who do this are very calculated in how they sell their stuff.

By the way, fun fact, I have poked around talent on Fiverr. Do you know what the majority of voice actors are for? Commercials, there's still a lot of ad money floating around, it's just been moved elsewhere because television and radio is finally dying off. It's kind of annoying for me because I'm often searching for different accents and most of the examples I find are of ad reads. You even have American voice actresses going so far as to do fake British accents for ads which clearly increases their range for the market.
