I mean you have a point there, it could be fake, if it is the reason she would be doing this is to generate fake demand with the idea that she's so desirable she's got men showering her with gifts to try and win her over to make other men think she's worth it. This isn't even necessarily that out of the ordinary either because it's the same deal with gym thots and why they behave the way they do, it's attention seeking behaviour. It's also why false accusations are such a thing online and even when it's not a lot of these types of women often fake getting attention from men or being 'harassed' because again, it makes them seem more desirable than they really are. There's also the claim to victim status they can use to gain sympathy from their friends and simps on social media, yes it's all that insidious.

Unfortunately though when it comes to monetary based simping this is a thing. There's some pretty high profile situations where fresh and fit have been caught paying women in this manner. They're getting 'gifts' as a way of getting round the prostitution laws, allegedly one of them even got openly caught paying a woman to be a fake girlfriend using stuff like a designer bag. In typical weaponised autism fashion someone spotted the woman had the same designer back he supposedly gave her.

There is an unbelievable amount of fakery online. Yes this is normal by internet standards but I think even some people who are aware of it don't know how deep the rabbit hole goes and depending on the topic it's something I've been surprised by and I'm pretty experienced with internet fakery.

With regards to dating and simping, when I see men flexing their counts online. I do have to think to myself, how much money did you spend on her? Even when it comes to the ones who try and flex on me, because if barely any money changed hands okay more power to you but I would not be shocked if they spent quite a bit of money trying to impress women which indicates they're not half as a chad as they try to make out.

That kind of fakery is something that does bother me a lot, because it's a huge amount of gaslighting on single guys with not much confidence in themselves and will make them question if there's something wrong with them when they don't realise these types of men are simps faking chad status.
