To add, u/nuggetpatrol Achievement Hunter was a subsidiary of theirs, and that was a pretty big name for a while in the era of YouTube lets plays, collectible guides, and the like.

Outside of direct video-game content, they made live-action comedy shorts that did pretty well. I believe the most famous one of those was the Angry Birds parody trailer (years before Angry Birds actually made a movie). They had a weekly “general” podcast, as well as ones more focused on specific topics. They also made RWBY, which got way larger than it probably deserved.

Ultimately, they lost all the good talent and brought in less funny people to replace them. I think one of the founders got ousted over politics, some of the big names ended up having various personal dramas and came out fired and/or looking pretty scummy, etc.
