Yeah I found it fascinating reading through that, their entire load of comments was made on a massive assumption. I can tell you now when it comes to discord groups especially I've ranted about them before. I hung out with them fine for awhile, even with disagreements because I know I'm not that bad, again I point at myself as the self-aware nerd.

What happens is it's usually the main people in the group who decide to start sperging out or maybe there's some kind of argument. Then because they're more fucking awkward than I'll ever be they start resorting to mod privileges if you stick up for yourself and you realise there's no way to even reason with them because they can't handle it. I've had people who met me round the back so to speak after through DMs and they've confirmed they stopped hanging out with that group because the main people stopped being fun to hang out with and got really intolerant.

Yes, massive projection on their part, but they would say the exact same thing about anyone different from them. Thankfully I was never daft enough to enter into a group with mods that were outright ban happy aside from ones that had clearly been hijacked but I still fucking left and stopped talking because they know what they did. It's a shame as well because these were people I had hung out with for a good while and was on VC quite regularly, but yeah, fuck it.

We all know this about them, but I'm just posting anyway there's probably a lot of detail those shit heads are likely missing. I feel sorry for anyone who's got some actual problems that's had to come across them. Discord groups can work, but they often end up being a special kind of internet cancer based on in-group favouritism at the best of times and it's horrible. It's like fucking mean girls on steroids depending on who it is.

Edit: Also look at that sub's subscriber count in comparison, I love how I can always look at data and numbers with regards to this sort of thing, it's like looking at women's accounts of dating and loling at their gaslighting
