I've fucking been there when I've seen girls who seem fairly normal either slowly get completely deranged or you can see they're hanging out with the wrong crowd. I do not want to know what some of the girls I knew in school have ended up as in this day and age and I think aside from the fact that I hated school to begin with even with the people I liked and some childhood friends I just don't want to know. They would probably view me as an extremist by today's standards but most of them I've not heard from since forever.

You did the right thing and honestly distancing yourself the fuck away from that is best. If you interfered she'd inevitably just straight up accuse you of trying to bang her or whatever shite she can come up with. The broken home thing is so damn common these days and something not talked about enough. It opens up young people especially to predators and even if they're not outright predatory they're definitely trying to take advantage of the situation. See Antifa as an example and the trannies as well, literally trying to turn young people gay.

Edit: Even with the non-gay stuff, they won't be told, you've just got to learn to let go because any interference and they'll simply treat you like the enemy.
