Yes and no, it depends on the boycotting, I mean granted I've just been ranting about London and I am now going to actively refuse to go anywhere near that shithole no matter what as if I didn't need enough of a reason. I feel like a true secessionist movement that basically told the local government to go fuck itself would do far more than any kind of uprising. We've all seen ranches etc. where that kind of shit goes down, the boomer style spergfest is just a fast way to get yourself killed and I don't want to see more of that than we've got already.

It is I grant you though ultimately pointless to boycott anything if you've got no alternative and also government can just fuck you up anyway regardless of whether you say yes or no. It's going to take a whole community getting pissed off about something for any real change to happen and we're simply not seeing that yet.
