I'm so fed up of this conversation in general because like with other mental health issues people deliberately ignore the fact that there's something always deeper going on with people involved in it to begin with.

If it wasn't porn it would be something else, these are the same kind of people who can get affected by psychological manipulation through the use of bright colours and ego feeding which incidentally is what micro-transaction based gaming makes it's money from. Even if right wingers got exactly what they wanted these problems with the younger generations would still exist and then they'd either ignore it or flail their arms about going "But we banned porn!". Which is why I've made the point in the past that such things as brothels and dancing girls existed back in the day.

If right wingers just owned up and admitted they hate porn I'd respect them far more for it but instead they insist on dancing around the issue and making up bullshit. We have a mental health crisis in the west in general that people are not willing to talk about. One thing I will acknowledge though is the use of psyops in varying capacity on people, now that's the really fucking damaging stuff. Which also happens to be why I refuse to watch television, listen to radio or look at trending pages.

I would be tempted to support an experiment of banning porn just so I can see what a fucking mess people would be in when they realise nothing's changed. Of course they'll find some way to blame people getting round porn bans etc. conveniently instead of owning up. I also don't doubt that the people who screech about porn addiction would inevitably end up banning all horni in video games anyway, birds of a feather with the feminists as far as I'm concerned and I don't trust you types for a second.
