It's not the fact that there are completely legalised tech scammers in these industries that's amazing it's the sheer scale of it all. It wasn't an exaggeration back when people were poking at this problem that it was basically 1 - 2 guys doing the real work while the rest are just pushing papers at a minimum.

I don't know what exactly has set this trend off it's very curious, but the executives have clearly decided enough is enough and are cutting the dead weight. They're not doing it because they're going non-woke though or anything like that, I have to wonder if they think they can replace most of these people with AI or something. I seriously doubt that will translate well to the games industry. You could get away with it in journalism because they're a bunch of actual NPCs anyway.

The weirdest shit is how many of these companies seem to also be faking growth which I think is clearly a reason for the amount of employee bloat they all have with very little real work being done. All these unproductive wokesters are going to get a massive slap in the face.
