The baldur's gate murders was easily one of the more tedious quest designs that I've seen in an RPG for awhile. No way to travel quickly around the city ( That should be mandatory in games with lots of travelling featured even if it's a bit immersion breaking ) so you have to go through this incredibly long dumb checklist of victims before being able to progress. That shit was grindy on an MMORPG level and they were clearly running out of ideas towards Act 3.
