Good job because I know I do fanboi over Godot but purely from a technical perspective it's absolutely perfect for people like us partially because it's open source. We're not doing anything that ground breaking and even if we were the engine is easily customisable and I do plan on making real money with it I would just pay some autist to do any potential changes I need. There's very little I've needed to do to the engine though.

Meanwhile you have the modders reverse engineering horrible outdated software riddled with bugs and glitches that will never get fixed and awful mod support to begin with. People rave about Fallout 4/Skyrim modding but imagine if there were a community of devs that got together and made games people really liked without any of that bullshit. I don't understand how they can cope with it because I look at the ridiculous check list you have to perfectly execute to simply get the mod running and nope out of there. Would much rather code a new game myself it's pretty much the same thing in terms of how complicated it is, some people are just fraidy cats and intimidated by code.
