I know without even reading the article all the way through based on these two lines what statistic this moron misinterpreted and she can fuck off completely. No this isn't about rapists and gender roles, you hate men and you think that accusations make a person guilty.

For those who don't know there's actually a bit of deep lore regarding the whole kill all men and all men are rapists mantra. It stems from a little known statistic that claims some ridiculous number of only 2% of men are falsely accused. This was a statistic frequently quoted by feminists to try and debunk the MRA narrative around false rape accusations. The MRAs did some major autism on this one ( which is why feminists went out of their way to scatter the movement ) I'm going off very fuzzy memory on them but being generous even by their standards 4% of court proceeding resulted in a conviction for rape.

Because feminists are the dumbest people on the planet, women like this article writer have interpreted the statistic to mean that 96% of the other cases that end in failure or were thrown out are rapists going free, they actually believe this. I just thought I'd post a bit of background information on why these kind of articles keep popping up even though they were debunked years ago. It's very much the same sort of bullshit they used to justify campus rape hysteria. It's a very persistent belief within the feminist movement and worth noting in case you ever encounter these morons but be sure to look up the study because it's floating around I think and something that feminists like her reference often. Somewhat interesting for me is even the feminists in their arguments on reddit often gave quite widely varying percentages but of course their main claim was that false accusations were extremely low therefore shut up men and stop defending rapists.
