Honestly I think even a bunch of whites would probably riot. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as guilty of the grass is greener mindset because of how bad it is in the west now.

However AbroadInJapan is a channel that I watch regularly and the guy Chris Broad on there is very red pilling about life with Asians. He's totally honest about it, there are good points and bad points about Asian society. A lot of people do not talk though about the rampant collectivism and unhealthy work culture.

If you can stand being a major conformist, you'll fit right in, however be too much of an individual depending on the situation you're in and personal relationships might well be tough. Chris Broad even made a point himself that he didn't really end up being friends with the usual Japanese but the outliers.

I do get the culture shock aspect though of a low crime area. Even though I'm from a middle class family and admittedly this is going to sound like I'm AOC talking about growing up in the Bronx. I have grown up in Bradford though and yeah just like with New York you're always on guard because I'm not an out of touch moron. Now that I'm in a reasonably nice area by comparison I'm confused by how polite people are and realising that no they're not possibly going to attack me or be deranged street beggars lol. Also worth noting, especially if you're white, you're always going to be regarded as a foreigner. The collectivism extends to a degree to racial.
