I met my wife in college in 2013, we were married in the fall of 2015.

Her political views start getting more to the left.

The rise of Trump brought out this side in her I had not yet seen.

That awkward moment where he's realised even by his standards he's probably married a nutter. I bet this guy's a sort of mid-tier progressive and she's getting too extreme even for him and is being radicalised by reddit.

Very quickly modding took over a larger portion of her life. All of her other hobbies fell by the wayside, our date nights started declining. She was on her phone when she wasnt on her laptop.

She lost her job in 2020. They blamed covid but her performance was slacking. She was the only employee let go. This was the turning point. Very quickly she was online for 16-17 hours a day.

I told her she needs to take a step back from being a mod for these communities, or we need to seperate. I've never seen her so angry. She threw her dinner across the living room and kicked over the tv tray that her food had been sitting on.

I've been crashing at a coworkers house since Wednesday evening and shes only called me because I shut off her uber eats account and she wanted me to order food for her.

This is really funny if it's all true but at the same time I get pissed off. These are the people who, not so long ago or perhaps still are this way trying to lord it over incels. Sitting there pretending they have the best lives ever just because they're married and secretly they're turning into fucking wrecks because they have nothing going on in their life and don't even have any real hobbies. This confirms to me that it's a fucking cope and they're projecting about how shitty their own lives are and are trying to go after easy targets to make fun of. They have no meaning in their lives.

I'm online a lot but even I know when to calm down about it and chill, I'm mostly doing research though and coding these days. One of my often repeated rules that I keep following is I do my best not to engage unless I'm in a good mood and patient because that's how I reply sensibly most of the time.

These people are losers trying to pose as cool kids but they're actually adult wrecks on an absolute psychological spiral and it's hilarious.
