Want to know another truth for another topic? Rape only has nasty psychological impacts because we as a society tell women they should have nasty psychological impacts from it. A lot of women don't even know they've been raped until they're told by society that their "experience" was indeed rape. Then they have a meltdown. Until the women are told they're supposed to have a meltdown, most don't. If we stopped promoting a victim culture around rape the psychological impacts to women from "rape" would be significantly less. Women only play up being the victim because they gain advantage in society by doing so. Remove that advantage and women will get over the rape and move on.

Note, I'm not talking about violent rape where the woman is barely alive afterward. I'm talking about the guy was pushy at the frat party kind of rape.
