It's that fucking valley high, coastal elite speak that makes it's way online because that's who's over represented on the normie net since everyone else gets banned and the lefties copy each other in order to be trendy. Yes it's not just you, I hate this as well, my favourite pet hate is when they use "Y'all" constantly in sentences and it's funny how it's mostly white leftists on twitter that do this too but it infests reddit sometimes.

. "Thread is locked because y'all can't behave"

. "Y'all need to chill"

Sufficiently irritated yet? :D There was also a trend awhile back on reddit where they'd constantly use words like 'Ad hominem' and 'Fallacy' it was obvious these were words university students picked up and they were constantly using them in arguments to try and seem clever constantly going "HURRR THAT'S SUCH AN AD HOMINEM".

I remember getting annoyed at someone's twitter post for using 'whom' incorrectly and a person on reddit actually thanked me claiming they had an english degree of some kind and it was pissing them off too LOL. It really is awful dealing with certain levels of retard on a topic when you're genuinely knowledgeable on a topic and do your research and it's obvious somebody else hasn't yet they insist on pretending to win an argument.
