I'll tell you exactly who's doing the worshipping, it's lazy and opportunistic people who don't understand AI and are already angling for an AI takeover to either increase their profits by getting rid of humans or so they can simply steal other peoples' slightly edited work and pretend it was the AI that did it. It's a pattern that I've been noticing, the business end is obvious because they're trying to cut costs but people like this guy are just hoping they don't have to work anymore and just leave an AI running in their place while they go off on holiday.

I've got to tell you the security implications of this sort of attitude that people have towards AI are extremely serious and people aren't thinking about that side of things enough. Machine learning ( Which is what most of this AI is based off ) is nowhere near advanced as people make out which is why it falls on it's arse depending on what you try and get it to do.
