You see it on this site as well and I get people throwing shit at me who don't like this being pointed out to them. Even at the most basic level I simply ask them "What have right wingers done for gamers?" they can't even defend the idea of being able to enjoy your own hobbies in peace. Oh and yes, I've seen the way they're shifting as well, much of what Conservatives do revolve around trying to prove they're more left wing than the left is and they refuse to acknowledge the amount of people out there who despise the left with a passion. You see it in Trump quite often, he says things I agree with, then he has complete sperg moments and practically yells "I'M MORE LEFT WING THAN THE LEFTISTS ARE VOTE FOR ME! I'M THE BEST LEFTIST EVER LOOK AT THIS GOVERNMENT PROGRAM I INTRODUCED!" with the way he virtue signals at times about shit like the covid jabs.
